From Anne Hutchinson to the Salem Witch Trials was only 50 years. Women suffered discrimination, violence, slavery, and genocide. How women are perceived and treated may be the gage for how civilized a society is. Pamela Apkarian-Russell is a social historian, author, and owner of Castle Halloween Museum, which includes a collection of Salem Witch memorabilia — the basis for the book she authored on the subject.
