Wheeling 250 - "Once a Mouse"

Cheryl Harshman (author) and Bob Villamagna (illustrator) will launch their new children's book, Once a Mouse, created for Wheeling 250 and celebrating the 100th anniversary of Children's Book Week.

Cheryl Ryan Harshman is an artist, storyteller, and author of several children's books. She is currently Library Director at West Liberty University.

Bob Villamagna is a retired Assistant Professor of Art and the Director of Nutting Gallery at West Liberty University. Working primarily in assemblages collages and mixed media art, he was named the 2016 West Virginia Artist of the Year.

The Ohio County Public Library serves all persons who live in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, which includes Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties. Residents in Jefferson, Belmont and Monroe counties of Ohio and Washington, Greene and Allegheny counties of Pennsylvania may also receive library services.
