Slàinte mhath! We had so much fun last year, we decided to try it again! Re-Don yer kilt and join the OCPL players for a celebration of all things Robert Burns, featuring poetry, kilts, song, stories, general merriment, and a group singing of Auld Lang Syne. Robert Burns (1759 –1796), is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, a pioneer of the Romantic movement, and a cultural icon in Scotland and among the Scottish diaspora. “Burns Night” is celebrated on the poet’s birthday, 25 January, with Burns suppers around the world. This will be our second annual Burns Lunch (with Books).
