Instructor: Dr. Jerra Jenrette is Professor of History, Department of History, Anthropology, and World Languages at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. from Mars Hill College, M.A. from Appalachian State University, and her Ph.D. from West Virginia University. Veteran People's U instructor, Dr. Jenrette previously joined us to lead PEOPLE'S UNIVERSITY: WWII - Class 5, "On the Home Front and Abroad: Women in WWII" in 2018.

The People’s University features courses (taught by experts in each subject) that enable patrons to pursue their goal of lifelong learning in classic subjects such as history, music appreciation, philosophy, and literature. Patrons may attend as many classes as they wish. There are no tests of other requirements and all programs are free and open to the public.
