Bob Gaudio, the area's Troubadour, is bringing some of the great tunes of John Denver to Lunch With Books on Tuesday, December 30th, at noon. Here's what Bob has to say about one of his favorite, modern singer-songwriters: "I became aware of Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr. in 1969 when Peter, Paul and Mary's 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' hit the Top 40 playlist. Then in 1971, John Denver's recording of 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' shot to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and captured the world's imagination.
