This Thursday, September 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 the Ohio County Public Library in Wheeling will offer "Seed Saving with Roger Seeber," a free educational program about harvesting, preserving, and saving seeds. The program is part of the Library's ongoing community "Seed Swap" initiative and the "Seed Library," a subset of the "Library of Things." A Seed Library is a community-based method of saving and sharing seeds. Roger Seeber began studying biology at State University of New York in Potsdam. He completed his BS and MA in Biology at the State University of New York in Cortland and earned his PhD in Biology at WVU. He is currently the Biology Program Coordinator and Biology and Natural Sciences professor at West Liberty University. He is also an ordained minister.
