Spring Book Sale

Book Sale - April 12th and 13th

Join us for our 2024 Spring Book Sale! Our book sales are always held in our basement-level storage room at the library. Our address is 52 16th St. Wheeling, WV and more information about how to get to the library and where you will be able to park can be found here.

Sale hours will be held: 

• Friday, April 12, 2023 – 10:00am-4:30pm
• Saturday, April 13, 2023 – 9:00am-4:30pm

This book sale has additional fun things happening! Our brand-new library cards have just been released, and two of the artists, Logan Schmitt and Natalie Kovacs, will be here on Friday to sell some of their fun art and interact with patrons.

Additionally, we're adding a new layer to our book sale: a rummage sale! The library has a bigger storage area downstairs than most people realize and we're doing some spring cleaning. Rummage sale items will be sold out of the classroom downstairs and all proceeds will—like the books we sell—go directly towards buying new books, movies, games, and more to keep our collections full, rotating, and up-to-date.

^{Items are available at the sale for all ages and interests. All items have been sorted by Diane Rhodes, OCPL Staff Member/Genealogist and longtime book sale coordinator, as well as other library staff and Friends of the Library volunteers.}

A large selection of large print, fiction, young adult, non-fiction, children’s books, audiobooks, cookbooks, DVDs, CDs, and other items are available for sale, thanks to generous donations from patrons and community members.
