Carl E. Feather will discuss the fourth book in his Wanderingthe Back-Roads of West Virginia book series.
This is the largest book of the series and the final one that covers the entire state of West Virginia. In this volume, Carl explores some of the places and traditions of West Virginia that are outside the realm of “tourist attractions” and whose stories are strongly people-oriented. Our friend John Bowman is included. Also from the Northern Panhandle, there are chapters about the Family Roots Farm, Wheeling’s Centre Market, and Sistersville Ferry.
Carl E. Feather is a writer, photographer, video producer, and film collector with a passion for Appalachia and its people and landscape.
