Summer Reading 2020 - Week Three: Asia
Now, we are on to the huge continent of Asia. This week we will see the wonders of China and Japan.
Monday - Toddler Time featured story: Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?
Tuesday - Story Time featured story: The Beckoning Cat
Thursday - Special Activity: We will read A Carp for Kimiko and make our own koi fish kite.

SUMMER READING 2020: Reading Takes You Places

Join our Summer Reading Challenge and read, explore, and discover amazing places both near and far. Each minute you read between now and August 15th will count as one mile. We'll be keeping track of countries visited in books and miles (in minutes) read through an online platform. Want to participate? It's easy!

Starting June 15, 2020 sign up online at ohiocountylibrary.readsquared.com or download the READsquared app at the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Collect points for reading and completing activities. Log points to earn cool prizes!

ABOUT STORY TIME AT THE OHIO COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY:

Story Time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, songs, crafts, and other fun activities. Library Story Time incorporates the early literacy skills that children must master before they can learn to read. Story Times are designed for children 3-5 years old, though all ages are welcome. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes and caregivers are asked to participate with their children. Story Time is held in the Children's Department.
