Library Not Accepting Return Materials for Duration of Closure

OCPL PRESS RELEASE - MARCH 16, 2020:

As of Monday, March 16th, the Ohio County Public Library in downtown Wheeling, WV will not be accepting the return of Library materials. The Library asks that all patrons keep the materials checked out on their accounts with them at home until OCPL is able to reopen. All late fees will be waived for the duration of the Library's closure and fines will not accrue on patron materials.

The safety and well-being of Library staff and patrons is the primary concern. Due to concerns over the potential spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Ohio County Public Library has been closed until further notice, effective Sunday, March 15th.

All Library events, classes, and public meeting room reservations are canceled until further notice.

OCPL encourages patrons to frequently check for updates on this rapidly changing public health issue via their website at ohiocountylibrary.org, their smartphone app (OCPL Connect – available on iPhones and Android devices), and their Facebook page at facebook.com/ohiocountylibrary.

In the meantime, OCPL invites everyone to explore everything we have to offer on our website, www.ohiocountylibrary.org. The Ohio County Public Library offers remote access to resources for all ages 24/7, including e-books, audiobooks, magazines, video (including movies, TV, concerts, lectures, etc.), music, and streaming tutorials.
