VACCINATIONS:

Vaccinations are now available to all West Virginians ages 5 and older (effective 11/3/21).  The COVID-19 dashboard located at www.coronavirus.wv.gov shows the total number of vaccines administered. Local numbers can be viewed below.

VACCINATIONS THROUGH THE WHEELING-OHIO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT: 

WOCHD COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics (subject to change due to supply and demand). Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are available at all locations. 1st, 2nd, Booster and 5-11yr old vaccinations are available.  Walk-ins welcomed no appointments necessary. * NOTE LOCATION: Effective 9/27/21 COVID-19 vaccinations will be given at the Community Vaccination Center at the Highlands – old Michaels Craft Store, 550 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, WV.

Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program:
Individuals who are homebound can call the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department to schedule a home COVID-19 vaccination visit. Ohio County residents can call 304-234-3682 to set up an appointment and vaccination type.

ELIGIBILITY


As of November 3, 2021:
Vaccinations are now available to all West Virginians ages 5 and older. 

As of May 20, 2021:
Vaccinations are now available to all West Virginians ages 12 and older. 

West Virginians who are age 65 and older will continue to be prioritized first until all state residents in that age range who desire to receive the vaccine have been vaccinated. Any West Virginian age 65 and older who is still waiting on an appointment is urged to call the West Virginia Vaccine Info Line:1-833-734-0965 to be scheduled for an appointment to be vaccinated. The info line is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All West Virginians 5 years of age and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
