Thanksgiving is traditionally a time for reflecting upon the good things that life has bestowed upon us. 2020 has not been an easy year by any measure, and we've all experienced our fair share of curveballs, stresses, and anxieties. We approach this Thanksgiving knowing that many of us will not be able to gather with our family and friends as we have in previous years. However, this can still be a good opportunity to sit down and reflect upon the things we are grateful for. We, as a Library, have always been thankful for the abundance of support we receive from our community year after year. This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for the continued support and understanding we've received throughout these months of uncertainty and even more grateful that we have been able to adapt to the challenges and find new ways to continue to serve our community throughout this ongoing pandemic. We want to share our appreciation and thanks to the entire community and wish you all a very safe and happy Thanksgiving.
The Library will reopen for in-person visits by appointment and curbside services on Friday, November 27th.
While the Library will be closed on Thanksgiving, we are grateful that access is always available to our online services remotely. With an internet connection, you can enjoy our digital collections anytime, anywhere. Browse and borrow downloadable books, audiobooks, and videos from the West Virginia Downloadable Entertainment Library Initiative (wvdeli.overdrive.com), Hoopla (hoopladigital.com), and the rbDigital Gateway.
