▶ This photograph shows the extent of the flooding between 16th and 17th Streets looking south Chapline.
▶ The B&O train viaduct is visible in the background.
▶ The area where the women are standing is now the library parking lot. These same women can be seen this photo (looking north on Chapline from the viaduct) from the Harry Briese collection.
