▼ About this collection:

Sophia Dauber Grubb was born January 25, 1884, in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of Jacob and Louise Kindelberger Dauber. In 1914, Sophia married Harry E. Grubb (1883-1970), a traveling salesman for a wholesale grocer. She died May 24, 1964, in Wheeling and is buried in Mt. Wood Cemetery. The collection consists of three photo albums (1903-1907, 1908-1913, 1920s-1944), plus loose photographs and negatives, and Mrs. Grubb's obituary. Pictures are mostly from around Murphy, Ohio, Dillonvale, Ohio, Wheeling, West Virginia, and West Alexander, Pennsylvania. Families pictured include Dauber, Grubb, Hoffman, and Zoeckler.
