The Great Courses: University-Level Classes online

With hundreds of videos on subjects ranging from photography to physics, astronomy to art, history to health, and more, The Great Courses Library Collection has courses on how to do it, how to learn it, or how it happened, taught by the top 1% of university professors and experts from the Ivy League and other renowned schools and institutions. 

The Great Courses classes are now also available through WVDeli. Log in with your Ohio County Public Library card number and PIN to start learning! Lunch with Books is the OCPL's flagship program for adult patrons to bring a bag lunch to the Library and enjoy presentations by authors, poets, historians, musicians, and a more. Since the closing of the Library on March 15, 2020, due to concerns over the potential spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, OCPL has moved our lecture series online. Lunch With Books Livestream brings you a brand new program every Tuesday at noon - same Lunch With Books time, different (online) space - while Lunch With Books "From the Vault" features weekly videos of some of our favorite programs from the past.

WVInfoDepot.org provides access to millions of magazine and newspaper articles, ebooks, digital images, test preparation, primary source materials, and more.

WVInfoDepot.org is funded by the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) via the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the West Virginia Library Commission. Additional resource funding is provided by the State of West Virginia.

West Virginians can explore online articles and images from popular magazines, scholarly journals, current newspapers, and other reference works through WVInfoDeport.org or through their public library website.
