The McLain Apartments in Wheeling

Built in 1915, the McLain Apartments building was designed by Wheeling architect Frederick F. Faris. 

Contractors for the building were:

  • Mantels and Tile — W. H. Chapman.
  • General Contractor — H. W. Fair.
  • Painting — L. W. Selvey & Sons.
  • Plumbing Fixtures — Wheeling Sanitary Mfg. Co.
  • Plumbing and Heating — Schofield-Cowl Co.
  • Lumber and Mill Work — Scott Lumber Co.
  • Sheet Metal Work — General Mfg. Co.
